These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Light Nourishment website and to bookings made for Light Nourishment sessions, ceremonies and events. By making a booking or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Light Nourishment
Light Nourishment offers holistic wellbeing experiences including Reiki, sound therapy, gong baths, ceremonial cacao and AromaTouch® Technique. Sessions and experiences may take place in a private setting, at an agreed location or as part of a group ceremony or event, as described on the relevant service or event page.
2. Bookings
Bookings are made through the booking system provided on this website. A booking is confirmed once you have completed the booking process and received confirmation. The information provided on the relevant service or event page — including date, time, duration and price — forms part of your booking. Please check your booking details carefully before completing your booking.
3. Prices & Payment
Prices are displayed on the relevant service or event page at the time of booking. Payment may be made online or in person where offered. I reserve the right to change prices from time to time; this won't affect a booking already confirmed.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Our cancellation and refund arrangements are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Different terms may apply depending on the type of session or event booked. In particular, group ceremony and event bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to your statutory rights. If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to contact me — I'll always consider the circumstances and support where I reasonably can, but any flexibility is at my discretion and isn't guaranteed. 5. Health, Safety & Wellbeing
Light Nourishment offers complementary and holistic wellbeing experiences intended to support relaxation, wellbeing, self-awareness and personal connection. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You're responsible for informing me before your session of anything relevant to your participation, including health conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, medications or other circumstances. If you're unsure whether a session is suitable, please seek medical advice before booking. I reserve the right to postpone, modify or decline a session if I believe it isn't appropriate or safe. By booking, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
6. Participation & Personal Responsibility
Everyone responds differently to holistic and wellbeing practices. You're encouraged to listen to your body and communicate openly during your session. You may pause, modify or stop participating at any time. If you feel unwell or uncomfortable, please tell me immediately. You remain responsible for your own wellbeing and for providing accurate information relevant to your participation.
7. Right to Refuse or End a Session
I reserve the right to refuse or end a session if I believe it would be unsafe or inappropriate to continue, relevant information hasn't been provided accurately, you're unable to participate safely, you arrive under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or your behaviour is threatening, abusive or otherwise inappropriate. Where a session is ended because of behaviour or circumstances within your control, a refund won't normally be provided.
8. Liability
I provide my services with reasonable care and skill, within the scope of my training and experience. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to this, I'm not responsible for loss or damage arising from circumstances outside my reasonable control.
9. Website Content
Content on this website — text, images, branding, photographs and other original materials — belongs to Light Nourishment unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or reused without permission. Information on this website is for general information and wellbeing purposes and shouldn't be treated as medical advice.
10. Events and Group Experiences
Places at group ceremonies and events are limited and reserved for the person making the booking. Please arrive at the stated time — late arrival may mean you're unable to participate in part or all of the experience if it would disrupt the session or affect others' safety. In these circumstances, the booking will normally remain non-refundable.
11. If Light Nourishment Needs to Cancel
If I need to cancel or reschedule, I'll give as much notice as reasonably possible and offer either a full refund or the option to move your booking to an alternative date. You won't be charged an additional fee for a booking moved because of a cancellation by Light Nourishment.
12. Circumstances Outside My Control
I won't be responsible for a failure or delay in providing a session or event caused by circumstances beyond my reasonable control. I'll communicate with affected clients as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, offer an alternative date or refund.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with the Light Nourishment Privacy Policy. Please read the Privacy Policy for details.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
